July...The End is Near

The month of July is very different from that in Connecticut, the kids are in school until the end of the month, so our regular routine continues. Here are a few random shots that were taken throughout the month.

On July 10th, I headed to Kew Gardens with Carol, Erin and Katie to see Howard Jones and The Human League perform. We had so much fun reminiscing about the songs of the late 70's and the 80's. It was great watching all of the fans really get into the show, some FABULOUS dance moves here in England!!! For some reason I can't access my You Tube videos, so here are two links to public videos posted by others from the same concert!!

July 18th was the end of the year Choir Assembly. Mandy was able to play the recorder for a few songs and then sing in the rest. Always enjoy the assemblies at school!

The last day of school has arrived, July 24th. Mandy completed Year 3 (2nd Grade) with Miss Scott-Avis and also said goodbye to Ms. Holland, her music teacher, who retired this year.

Ryan had a HUGE year of academic growth in Year 1 (kindergarten) with Ms. Hayward!

As we wrap up the school year, we also found out that our time in London will be coming to an end in December. When we arrived here three years ago, we were unsure of what to expect. Life here has been full of so many new experiences, new friends, new travels...it will surely be missed. We do not know where we will be heading yet, but we are hopeful that it will be filled with many more positive moments!
