An Afternoon on Garson's Farm

Last year, we desperately missed the annual fall traditions of the east coast...apple picking, hayrides and picking out pumpkins. Now with a full year under our belt, more knowledge of our area and some great friends as our resources, we were able to get a taste of fall fun!

Garson's Farm, is located in Esher, which is about a 30 minute ride from where we live in Richmond. It is a beautiful area that has more of a residential, country feel to it. Garson's is known not only as a garden center and restaurant, but also as a "pick your own" farm. It was so nice to be out in the open space, enjoying "the country"!!! We will DEFINITELY be back! All Smiles in the Pumpkin Patch

Tried to pick some apples but believe it or not, the trees were already bare...no apple picking in London in October. Looks like we missed it by about a month.

Seeing as the apples were a bust, we headed over to the strawberry patch. This was the first time that Keith and the kids had ever picked their own strawberries and they all loved it! I was having major childhood flashbacks to Granny and Pop Pop's garden..."one for the basket, one for me"... How I loved picking strawberries as a kid!!! We easily left with 100-150 berries today, and a few in our bellies!

We had to get a shot of Ryan with a sign of is favorite veggies!!

Overall a great day of fun, fresh air and of course, grey London skies!!!
