Pictures from our go-see visit in June

Keith and I made a trip to London in June to look at the area where we will be living. We also took the opportunity to go into London City to check out the sites.

Tower Bridge

Parliment Building & Big Ben

Trafalager Square and Nelson's Column

London Eye from a distance. This is a giant observation wheel that moves slow allowing you to see all the sites of London. Each pod holds about 25-30 people and takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around.

Buckingham Palace.
When the royal flag is flying above the Union Jack flag, the Queen is in the Palace, when only the Union Jack is seen, she is not at the palace.

Typical row of housing in the Richmond area.
The River Thames

Trying out the blogging world

So with the upcoming move to London, I have decided to try out the world of blogging. I thought it might be a good way to keep everyone informed with pictures and details of our life "over the pond."  I am new to this so I thought if I started now I might have it up and running by the time we are in London. Please give me any feedback, tips or advice...would love to hear it!!!
