More pictures of the Richmond/Kew area!!

So Keith was working in London all last week and I sent a camera with him. He took a few pictures of the area where we are going to be living....

These are pictures of the street that we will be living on. The house with the blue sign in front of it is our house.

The Brentford Leisure Center is like the local Recreation/YMCA facility. Double Decker buses are everywhere for public transportation. The building to the right is the front of Keith's office building.

He's figuring it out!

Keith is in London this week traveling to various destinations to meet with some of his team. He purchased his first Oyster Card, which allows him to travel on all the various public transportation.

He also snapped a picture of Kings Cross Station which he described as London's Grand Central Station.

We've got a house!!!

Keith left on Tuesday to go to London to meet the office staff and go on a house hunt. We are very excited with the house that he was able to get for us. It has a nice double reception room, kitchen, sunroom and utility room on the first floor. The second floor has three bedrooms, an office and one full bath and the third floor has one bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Here are a few pictures from the real estate web page!

Keith also took a few pictures of his office .

We will keep you all posted when we have our official move date!!!

Pictures from our go-see visit in June

Keith and I made a trip to London in June to look at the area where we will be living. We also took the opportunity to go into London City to check out the sites.

Tower Bridge

Parliment Building & Big Ben

Trafalager Square and Nelson's Column

London Eye from a distance. This is a giant observation wheel that moves slow allowing you to see all the sites of London. Each pod holds about 25-30 people and takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around.

Buckingham Palace.
When the royal flag is flying above the Union Jack flag, the Queen is in the Palace, when only the Union Jack is seen, she is not at the palace.

Trying out the blogging world

So with the upcoming move to London, I have decided to try out the world of blogging. I thought it might be a good way to keep everyone informed with pictures and details of our life "over the pond."  I am new to this so I thought if I started now I might have it up and running by the time we are in London. Please give me any feedback, tips or advice...would love to hear it!!!
